Maize & sunflower drilling dates
There seems to have been some misunderstanding of the rules regarding maize & sunflower drilling dates.

All spring crops for which a coupled subsidy is being claimed must be drilled by the 31st of May.

Due to the poor weather dates of the 9th & 12 of june have been mentioned, but after calling DDAFs in several departments we have no evidence of a relaxation of the rules.

Any maize not drilled by the 31st is therefore not eligible for coupled area payment and ......read on

Hi all. I'm living in England and a farmers son. Just wondered what its like living and working in France? Are English farmers accepted by French farmers? How easy is it to pick up the language?
