FranceFarms.com Advisory Service
France Farm Advisory service offers project management of acquiring a property and setting up or taking over a viable agricultural business in France. We will only take on projects after the initial farm visits stages if we think they are viable.

17 years farming profitably in France and 6 years work on installing farmers enables us to advise you on whether you are making the right move and whether your investment is correctly priced and the best possible project for your individual circumstances.

Below are listed the 'off the shelf' services offered by FFAS, other services can be tailor-made to your requirements.

Mark Booth and FFAS are French registered businesses both liable for VAT. If you are a VAT registered UK Company and able to provide your international VAT code, then we will be able to invoice you free of VAT.

Farm visit

We will accompany you on a detailed farm viewing either of a property you have found yourself or One sourced by ourselves. Acting as interpreter and intermediary. We will advise on bureaucratic matters, and use our experience to probe for possible pitfalls. We may also bring along a technical advisor if a specific type of production is envisaged. The farm visit will be followed by a de-brief and a written report containing a summary of all the issues discussed during the visit and guideline budgeting figures will be submitted to you.

Fact finding mission

If you have been considering making a fresh start in France, but are as yet not sure, this service is a study tour in the area of the South Vienne/North Charente where we are based. You will be taken on guided visits of one or two farms that are in your field of production. We would use these visits as a trigger for exchanging with you as much information as we can, not only on farming practice, costs and profitability, but also on the agricultural infrastructure, Government assistance and administration.

Tailored with your personal circumstances we would move forward in discovering whether France is the right place for you. As with all of francefarms.com ' services a written report with a summary of the issues discussed, and a follow-up containing any information not available on the day will be submitted to you. E-mail us with the type of accommodation that would suit you and the dates that you would be able to travel and we will return your mail with a few suggestions and start to build a customised fact finding tour.
